That batch of “preserves” was unexpected! Nicely done, Violet. 🙂

Why thank you, Tabatha! The sense of light emanating from the ground when it’s covered with leaves in fall always strikes me… maybe that’s where the idea came from.

Reblogged this on Science & Faith Matters and commented:
God created all the seasons and the beautiful trees with the shedding of their leaves. Trees of the Book – Learning from God’s Creation includes information on the Oak, Cedar, Broom, Mustard, Fig, Sycamore and Palm tree/

Nice! I like that the leaves are a “dehydrated” crop. A winter’s marmalade!

Violet, what a stunning photo accompanied by an inviting poem. I wish these leaves could be preserved to warm up our winter days. Are you going to submit this one for Autumn’s Palette Gallery? It has a full range of glorious colors to sparkle the gallery’s wall.

What a gorgeous photo! I want to roll & “swim” my way, enjoying every movement within the yellow playground, till I reach the lighted arched-opening at the end of the vista. So glad you preserved what you saw so we could see and it enjoy, also! …In comparison with the multitudinous leaves, you have used a paucity of words to produce a simply awesome natural testimony. Autumn is so sensory-rich. Thank you for bringing the season alive in words and photo. God bless you!

Why thank you! I agree about autumn being sensory-rich. Definitely my second-favorite season (a close follow-up of spring).
